Elise Long is presently a middle school instructor of English Language Arts and Reading or ELAR for short.
She has worked as a middle school teacher for two years, prior to which, she interned at a university as a lecturer.
Mrs. Long holds a M.A. in English Composition and Literature, and a B.A. in English Literature. Additionally, she is certified to teach grade levels 4-8, courses focused upon integrating strategies for English as a Second language, and is working towards a certification in Special Education.
In her spare time, she enjoys writing about herself in third person, because apparently that is the professional thing to do, and volunteering with a non-profit organization that she co-leads.
